The difference between traditional plain wedding bands and comfort fit wedding bands is that you can wear comfort-fit bands all day long without hardly noticing you are wearing it. Like any new jewelry ring, it takes a few days to get used to, but once you do, it’s hardly like it’s there at all.
When I first got my wedding band 15 years ago, it felt a little awkward as I never wore any kind of ring on my fingers. But because I chose comfort fit wedding bands, within about 2-3 days, I barely knew it was there and had to check at first to make sure I’m still wearing it. The reason for that is the comfort fit bands have an inner rounded edge, that forms more organically around the finger, rather than classic rings which are flat on the inside with no smoothly rounded edges, so naturally, you feel the difference.
Give it a try, you will be surprised. And although they tend to be a little heavier and therefore more expensive, they are worth their weight in gold. On average, I would say they are about $50 or so more expensive than regular bands and about a gram or so heavier, which accounts for the price, because you are getting more gold per band.
My personal experience has also been that if you are shopping online, Apples of Gold Jewelry, offers very high quality, individually handmade wedding band rings that are priced reasonably and affordably for just about anyone.
