Church is the Best Place to Meet Your Husband or Wife

A good husband and wife is hard to find, but so is a good church. When I was young and seeking to meet my wife and start a family, the first thing that I did was get on my knees, no infact, I got prostrate on the floor before God, and gave up control of this difficult area in life up to Almighty God. “God, I give my wife, my family, and myself to You!” And I began to beseech Him to bring me my wife and to help me start my family. As simple an act as that was, I believe it was the catalyst that led me here, 20 years later, with my wife and 5 beautiful children.

Two weeks after I prayed to God and gave it all to Him, I met my wife, Mary, at a church called the Church at Rocky Peak in Southern California. We now approach our 20 year anniversary.

Trying to find your husband and wife can be a challenging, painful, and at times what seems like a hopeless struggle. I searched for many years, and it was not until I completely broke down before God in tears and laid my dreams and ambitions before Him, in the name of Jesus Christ, that I had the miraculous breakthrough of setting my eyes on my lovely wife for the first time!

God is ready, willing, and able to do this for you also, in HIS time. That is the key. God always answers prayers, but He does so in His time and to your benefit. Trust Him with the second most important decision of your life. Call on Him and give your dreams for a family up to Him and let Him lead you in the way that you should go!

What is the first most important decision that you can make? Be sure that you have the Lord Jesus Christ as your One and Only God and Savior! Jesus said, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6. There is only one way to heaven and only One Person who can help manage all of your life decisions, so that you can look back 20, 25, or even 50 years later and praise Him for what He has done!

And what better place to meet your husband or wife, but at a Bible-believing, God-fearing church that does not compromise the truth, especially in today’s challenging times.
